We're really proud to have found such a brilliant little vineyard to work with on an exclusive basis.
Currently we are their only importer to the UK.

Barking Hedge is from Crichton Estate and the name is said to come from one evening when Conn Crichtons dog persistently barked at hedgehogs in the vineyard.

This single vineyard wine is grown on ideally suited alluvial terraces at the confluence of the Wairau and Waihopai Rivers. It benefits from great sun exposure and the wines have both the typical tropical fruit of Marlborough but with a little more poise and presence.

The style is very much in the 'easy' styled Marlborough -could-be-drunk-anytime and by anyone sort of style.
