The Hartford Winery's bottling under the name Hartford Court show the most exclusive selections of pinot noir. The fruit is sourced from single vineyards in the Sonoma County. The Land's Edge Vineyard cuvee is composed of fruit from the Annapolis Vineyard which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The cool climate reduces crop levels drastically and picking often occurs as late as November! The pay off comes in the retention of acidity levels, complexity and firm tannin helping the wine to age.

A highly expressive pinot with a complex nose of ripe cherries, violet and cedar. The palate has firm black cherries, mixed red and black berries with spice and coffee leading to a finish of complexity and length. A very fine pinot.
