The Ceretto family are one of the leading producers of Barolo and Barbaresco and one of the most innovative producers of Piedmonte.
The purpose build the 'Bricco Asili' winery to produce their single vineyard 'cru' Barbaresco's (they have another winery for their single vineyard Barolo's!)
Bricco Asili Bricco Asili is the vineyard right next to the winery and only a couple of hectares in size.
It produces magnificent Barbaresco of outstanding depth, power and finesse which are some of the very finest produced.
The 2001 vintage was one of the most successful vintages in Barbaresco and this Bricco Asili Bricco Asili will continue to develop and gain complexity for at least another 15 years, however it is spectacular drinking with the 'right' foods now.
