A very small estate with some of the highest altitude vineyards in the region, some of which are elevated at 700m above sea level. The name refers to a granite peak that is clearly visible from the vineyards and locally referred to as Babylonstoren. The winery focuses on extreme quality and provides excellent value for money.

Anything with good quality Carignan in it always gets the Old School vote and this is no exception. Grainy dark fruit with excellent acidity and balance from the Carignan is fattened up by rich dark Syrah.
