The next cuvee up from the Monte Bernardi basic Chianti (we say basic but it is truly delcious). This cuvee is 100% Sangiovese from a single vineyard and fermented in large old oak barrels allowing the elegant fruit and terrior to translate to the palate. If there ever was a French Italian wine this would be it, very much in the (good) old style of Chianti. No brash new oak here folks!

Cherry and mineral violets on the nose with a fresh tannic structure and a prolonged finish.
