Based in the Uco Valley near to Mendoza city, Mauricio Lorca crafts some very special wines with extraordinary passion in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
He is one of the ‘new wave’ of enlightened Argentinean wine makers who can express a balance of both power and elegance in his wines. His thinking is very European in style, he wants to plant his vines in soils that promote varietal character or ‘Terrior’.

Made from 100% Torrontes with no oak from vineyards at 2,952 feet in La Rioja. He plants at a very high density of vines in order to create competition between vines for vital nutrients, thus concentrating the fruit of each vine. His typical harvest can be as low as just one glass per vine!

Liquid jasmine with a honeysuckle palate and crisp lemon acidity on the finish.

This wine is an ideal match for oriental food, seafood with light spice and spiced white meat.
